This stage reminded us of the Camino de Santiago…

… the landscapes ahead of us were rural…

… vaste, and beautiful.

We also started learning a few short sentences in Portuguese!

We then socialized with some locals in the evening, who offered us a round of “Ginja”, a typical Portuguese liquor.
